It’s been a busy month for the team at Building Spatial Intelligence, and we’ve loved every minute of it!
From reconnecting with familiar faces to welcoming new ones, the recent event season has been full of great conversations, fresh ideas, and exciting opportunities to share what we’re passionate about: helping schools make smarter decisions about their estates.
We’ve rounded up some of the highlights from the events we’ve attended so far this year (including our first outing under our new name!) and what’s still to come.
The Trust Network National School Estates Conference
Kicking off events season at The Trust Network National School Estate Conference was the perfect way to introduce our new identity, Building Spatial Intelligence. As always, the event was a brilliant mix of familiar faces, new introductions, and exciting conversations, and what a warm welcome we received! We marked the occasion how we know best, handing out our signature chocolate oranges and soaking up the positive feedback on our rebrand.
One of the highlights was our immersive VR experience, where attendees stepped inside one of our digital schools and explored its potential for estates teams, suppliers, architects, and surveyors alike. It was fantastic to gather feedback and hear how this technology could revolutionise not just asset management but collaboration across the sector.
Jeremy also joined forces with Paul Stewart from Plymouth Cast to support his powerful session, “Surviving the £1bn Shortfall”. Education Estates Net Zero Conference
Our debut as both sponsor and exhibitor at the Education Estates Net Zero Conference was another milestone for us this year, so a huge thank you to everyone who visited our stand and joined our panel discussion!
We were proud to co-host a thought-provoking session on the power of estate digitisation and the tangible role it plays in decarbonising school environments. With BIM and structured data at the heart of the discussion, we explored how trusts can take control of their estate strategy while contributing meaningfully to sustainability goals.

Educational Estates and School Buildings Conference
Rounding off a packed April, we were delighted to attend the Educational Estates and School Buildings Conference for the very first time. As both sponsors and speakers, it was a brilliant opportunity to introduce Building Spatial Intelligence to a new audience.
One of the standout moments was our joint session with Paul Stewart on Adopting Digital Approaches to Estate Management — a practical guide on how data and digitisation can transform long-term estate planning. The energy and engagement throughout the day reaffirmed just how important digital strategy has become in tackling the sector’s most pressing challenges.
